Technical Breakdown: What is "Ring-Core 3D Dynamic Adjustable"?

 

The revolutionary innovation of the XH-ABMPR "Ring-Core 3D Dynamic Adjustable" intelligent welding head lies in its 3D dynamic adjustment of the ring-core beam, enabling active adaptation to different materials and flexible matching of welding processes. Its four core technical advantages solve all the above pain points:

 

1. Variable Ring-Core Power, Supports Arbitrary Same-Wavelength Combination of Ring-Core and Core

Xinghong Optoelectronics’ XH-ABMPR technology supports not only adjustable ring-core power but also arbitrary combination of ring-core and core at the same wavelength (1030–1080 nm), compatible with various core specifications. Users can configure according to their processing scenarios.

 

2. Adjustable Ring-Core Spacing and Z-Axis Focal Length

It features dynamic adjustment of the distance between the ring-shaped spot and the central spot, with independent and continuous adjustment range of ±50 mm. It separately controls surface preheating and bottom penetration, realizing 3D spatial energy compensation and active temperature gradient control, allowing customized weld penetration and width.

3. Fixed Ring Spot with Oscillating Central Spot

The ring spot remains fixed while the central spot oscillates, guiding orderly flow of the molten pool and prompt escape of bubbles from the keyhole, ensuring dense and smooth welds.

4. Multi-Channel Superposition Supported

Decades of Refinement for a Perfect Weld

Li Gaowen, General Manager of Xinghong Optoelectronics, has nearly 20 years of industry experience. When asked what inspired the new product, he recalled: "As early as 2018, ring-core adjustable lasers entered the market, but they still failed to solve real welding challenges in practice. I then had a vision: why not create a welding head that lets users freely define the beam profile?"

Take galvanized steel welding as an example: zinc has a much lower boiling point than steel, leading to violent zinc vapor eruption and heavy spatter in conventional welding.

 

Xinghong Optoelectronics’ intelligent welding head uses ring-core power ratio and focal length adjustment to let the ring spot pre-open the galvanized layer, allowing controlled escape of zinc vapor along the molten pool edge. In actual production line tests, galvanized steel welding shows drastically reduced spatter, with mirror-smooth welds requiring no secondary grinding.
