HO Series Ring-Shaped Spot Welding Head integrates a beam shaping system. A standard Gaussian beam is optically transformed internally to output a ring-shaped spot through a single fiber—no external ring light source required.
1.Spatter Control: The outer ring beam expands the heat-affected zone, reduces keyhole wall temperature gradients and vapor recoil pressure, suppresses liquid metal ejection, minimizes post-weld cleaning, and protects surrounding components. Production-line tests show significantly reduced lens cleaning frequency during continuous Al/Cu welding, improving overall equipment efficiency.
2.Penetration Consistency: The ring beam establishes a stable thermal boundary around the weld spot, buffering against workpiece unevenness, narrowing penetration fluctuations, and reducing risks of incomplete fusion and over-penetration.
3.Heat-Affected Zone Control: Precise heat input minimizes material distortion, making it ideal for thin sheets and heat-sensitive materials.
4.Optical Stability: Full water cooling, multi-layer protective windows, and a dual air knife design effectively suppress the thermal lens effect, extend lens maintenance intervals, and ensure long-term stability of focal position and spot morphology.
